South Dakota hunting?

Wondering if anyone here hunts or has hunted South Dakota for mule deer or whitetail deer? We've been building a few points on the west side of the state and had a lead on where to go that has vanished. I will give their fish and game a call, but was also hoping someone here could give me some information.

I have hunted there since 2006 and I pay a fee to hunt private ground,there is some walk in ground and most hunters do well if you are willing to do some walking.

I have been building points for West River Deer for my brother and I for the last several years in an effort to take him on an unguided deer hunt. I've been having trouble finding anyone that would allow us to hunt unguided on private property for a trespass fee. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
