Conservation Permits

I have a buddy that is trying to get a complete list of all the available permits to be auctioned off in Utah. He's retired and looking for a top quality hunt in Utah 2018,I know about the expo tags,just like to see what the MDF,RMEF and the individual chapters are going to be auctioning off and when. If someone has a link and would mind posting it I'd appreciate it.

Shouldn't be a problem getting him a tag, all of Utahs wildlife is for sale. That's why it has the best hunting.

Depending on the species, I would steer him towards a CWMU permit.

I counted 354 tags, I might be off a couple
So he should be able to find a great tag .

Here is a breakdown showing the amount of conservation tags per organization and by species. Three things: first, I did not include turkey tags in this. Second, this does NOT include the 200 expo tags. Lastly, this was done by eye and notes, so I acknowledge the possibility of a minor mistake, but it would be like 12 tags instead of 11, not a major oversight. So I think this is accurate enough.

And I believe some of those tags, MDF and SFW and FNAWS ARE are sold at the expo auctions.

If you want to include the 200 expo tags, and only include the antlered big game species, this is how it breaks out:

Deer: 110
Pronghorn: 59
Elk: 181
Moose: 4
Desert Bighorn: 7
Rocky Mtn Bighorn: 7
Bison: 7
Mountain Goat: 9

***This does not include the non-resident only applications at the expo. So the OIL species will be a little low above.
