My son is 8 and has killed whitetail, gator, and rio turkey. Looking to plan a big game hunt for him and seeking options. I know a bunch of states do not allow 8 year old, but outside of whitetail what are some good hunts for us to begin looking into? The best public or draw opportunities for youth is what i am really looking at, private options as well.
We are from Mississippi and do a lot of offshore fishing, we could potentially do some swapping/ seafood etc. for a hunt as well. I let him do the hunting and i do the filming. Thanks can email me at [email protected] also.

New Mexico has some of the best opportunity's for youth hunts. To late to apply this year but look into it for next year.

In Idaho a non-resident youth can buy a "mentored" license for $31.75. A "mentored" deer tag is $23.75, a black bear tag is the same. Elk is $39.75. The youth Mentored hunting license must be accompanied by an adult with a tag(s) for the same species. Draw's haven't happened yet either.
