Very nice, now how about the story? That looks like a ruger safari magnum. What caliber?

I shot this Buffalo in October 2005 the day I turned 50 years old. This was my 3rd trip to Africa but my first to Mozambique. I also took a Red Duiker,Bushbuck,2 Bushpigs, 2 Warthogs, Baboon,Common Reedbuck, all with this Ruger in .416 Rigby.

I also shoot a Ruger Magnum in .416 Rigby. It has accounted for my last two buffalo and all three of my elephants. It is absolutely fantastic medicine for cape buffalo, and I'll never go back to the .375 H+H after seeing how well it performed on the cape buffalo. And the 375 did just fine in its own right.

Very nice. The Buff is at the top of my wish list but still a few years away. Headed to Namibia next on a plains game hunt next June.
