Kanana report

Brief email from hunting partner today, says send more money! He has 7 animals with his bow and 2 with rifle. Took his daughter on her first trip to Africa and she has kudu, warthog, and blue WB so far. Our friend from Boise is on his first trip too and has taken 3 kudu - Africa bug strikes again!

I met Paul, Jenny, Fred and Dave when they came into camp about midway through my 12 day hunt at Kanana a couple of weeks ago. Everyone was having a great time and getting totally carried away with shootin' stuff!

A good time was had by all of us and we talked of getting back there together in the next year or so. I really enjoyed sharing camp with them.

I don't know when I'll have any spare time to post details of my hunt, but I took my bow and while very selectively hunting I harvested about 6 animals with it, and maybe that many more with a rifle.

I saw some of your pics that Jason posted; congratulations on some very nice animals! Paul and his wife came over for BBQ on his return and I looked at his photos. Some very nice ones too, and I can see why you guys have had such a good time. I love warthogs with big smiles! Hoping my RSA trip is as successful and fun, and will be seeing some new country..
