I am looking to do a guided hunt in Nevada for mule deer. I have one point and wanted to use the guides draw. Does anyone have any recommendations on who they would hunt with? I have been looking at Timberline outfitters, western wildlife adventures and G&J.

Does anyone have any input or experiences with any of these guide services hunting mule deer?

I just finished up a sheep hunt with Nevada Guide Service. I would highly recommend them. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I would defiantly look at a lot of guides mule deer albums, some guides consistently kill good to great bucks and others kill bucks you can easily get on your own with out help.
If your wanting to pay good money for a good buck you need to pic a guide that hunts Ely area and south from what I see.

Hunted deer with G&J, Cary is topnotch.

Oh wait, I want to hunt with him next year. Nothing to see here, move along.

I think you need to decided what part of the state you want to hunt in and what type of buck you are looking for. You can kill a nice buck in almost any unit in NV, but the bulk of the large deer killed in NV come from the eastern part of the state. With that the draw odds in eastern NV are far worse than the rest of the state, even in the guide draw. Once you narrow down what part of the state you want to hunt you can narrow down what guides to talk too. Most of them specialize in certain areas of NV. I know, not much help, but it's the truth of the matter. Timberline is in central eastern NV, Western Wildlife Adventures is mostly in NE NV, and G&J seem to go all over but are mostly in central NV. There are lots of other good guides out there as well.
