What times are you seeing bears?

I have a pretty good limited draw spring tag here in Idaho and have been out quite a bit with minimal success in seeing some bears.

My question is what are the typical times you are seeing bears? I have thought for the longest time you can catch them moving all day - is that right? Last bear I killed was at 2:00 pm on a suuny day. First/Last light? Any suggestions appreciated?

I've killed them at various times, most in the later evening. I just got back from my hunt, we were seeing them from 1 in afternoon till dark. I usually hunt all day, look for sign in the mornings, and then hunt the evenings where the best sign was.

Bottom line for me is, as long as I'm out and about looking, I've got alot better chance than I do watching TV.

I drew a 22 tag this spring as well. I have been out for 6 days of hunting and have seen 9 total. It seems like the very early morning you can catch a few out, but almost all I have seen have been 2pm till dark. Got a few more weeks, good luck!
