With the near historical moisture in these areas, you’d think it’ll have a very positive impact on Sheep habitat. I’d imagine the brush & grasses will make a major improvement this year. What’s your thoughts? Mark
You’d think the lamb survival rate for 2023 will be very high. Probably have a lot more water sources, won’t be as easy for predators to pick off lambs.
It's not like you get to pick the year or even if you draw a desert sheep tag before the grim reaper visits. I'll be happy with a tag any year. But yes, it would be a great year to get lucky!
The feed should be good enough to put the ewes into an early estrus and be able to start there young super healthy and fatten them up so not only will it help out the young rams but what’s on my mind is this years lamb crop and maybe even a chance of having multiple lambs.
