Hunted region C east of 1-25 spent 4 days hopeing to catch a nice land owner to let us hunt the river bottoms. Not a chance. Asked 25 - 30 no takers. Well anyone with some inside info would be of great assistance. Public land in this region is well tough to get access. And slim pickins. Not to say we didn't see deer we did more then a couple hundred bucks counting private land but no mulie takers. I took a Whitetail on B.L.M. Not a monster but a nice buck for the area. We will be headed back for the opener the 15th. West of 1-25 We will be hunting the Bighorn Mts. My son still has a tag to fill. He passed on several 24-26" class in hopes of mr big. He ought to be slaped he passed on a 28" 3x3 that was tall as wide and heavy. Plus it was close to the road. I spied a 30" and a 36" about a month ago. If hopes will have there way. Any advice guys?
