I just found out that I drew one of the four yearling Bison tags in 5B for January 2023. I had been applying for 23 years and had 36 points.

My CC shows a charge to AZGFD for $350. It looks like I'm hunting a yearling bison in 5B. Yoohoo, it only took 23 years and 36 points.

I was able to secure a non-res muzzle loader antlered mule deer permit for unit 11, 12, 13, 22, 23, 24, 131, 211, 231. Not too spectacular but I get to hunt this year.

My CC was hit for a deer tag and sandhill crane permits. With 16 points my first two choices for deer were 12BW late and 12AW late. Yoohooo

Thank you for the help. I didn’t intend on creating drama on this site. I was just asking for other hunters experiences and I do appreciate what you have seen.

I have drawn the buck antelope permit for unit 161. Does anyone have any information on the antelope herd north and west of Walden, Co? The last time I hunted this unit was 2007 and I killed a decent buck.

I have drawn a population management cow elk archery permit for the Round Valley hunt in unit 1-2. Does anyone have info on the whereabouts of the elk if they are not on the private ranches I will have access to?

I do have the point guard. I will make a weekend trip up there as it gets closer. I will scout it out using the help from the AZGFD website.

I apparently was successful after 22 points and drew the 13B rifle pronghorn tag this year. Has anyone hunted this area recently who could give me some advice on where to start and expectations on bucks?

Hey dry boot, I’m thinking of applying for a late season 4/5 deer hunt. I was wondering how you did on your hunt and which area your hunt ended up in?

Since I didn't draw a tag this year I was thinking about a first time Deer hunt in Nebraska. Can anybody give me insight into the north west portion of the state for a December muzzle loader hunt?

We saw more mule deer than white tails but ended up shooting a whitetail.
