Founder has a side gig, opinions?

I could go on and on about why I am opposed to what Founder is doing, along with why I wish outfitting/guiding would disappear in most areas, but I just can't get over the fact that a trophy hunter would sell out! No way in hell would I EVER consider putting a price on a "1%er", let alone...

    Antelope Island tag

So what was the buck pushing 40 wide with the big hook cheater? Had MB stamped on the pics.

    Wanton Waste?

Thanks for the response. The reason I asked the question is because I witnessed a hunter drop a trophy buck in its tracks at 5:30 pm and he did not retrieve it until 11 am the following morning. By then I guarantee the meat is spoiled especially with the warm temps we had at the time. So I was...

His biggest buck! Bookcliffs Rifle 2016

Very nice. Congrats to you and your boy! Sounds like you've raised your son right. I'm pretty impressed that he had the respect for the other hunters to walk away from the big buck they had been hunting. You don't find that in many fellow hunters anymore.

    Wanton Waste?

    >not sure what you are asking >here, do you mean what >about someone shooting an animal >then walking up to it >and just leaving it lay >there? that is poaching. > >Mntman > >"Hunting is where you prove yourself" > My main question is if you see a fellow hunter shoot and undoubtedly...

    Wanton Waste?

Just curious what everyone's opinion is on wanton waste of an animal? More specifically, in your opinion, how soon should someone retrieve the animal after knowingly killing it? I would hope this is pretty black and white but just curious on everybody's opinion.

    Vernon

    >Bummer!, Thank you for the heads >up. I was hoping for >a big buck considering it's >a 10 year draw. Sorry, I did't mean to discourage you. There's always a chance for a monster but I would hate to see someone pass up a nice 26 inch 180 buck hoping for bigger and eat tag soup. I think...

Good luck. I live close by and you couldn't pay me to hunt that unit. There's always a few monsters out there, but they are needles in a haystack or live on private. Similar to the book cliffs, it's not managed for trophy quality. If you have a nice, deep forked 26 inch buck spotted, you better...

    66a moose

LAST EDITED ON Sep-16-16 AT 05:24AM (MST)[p]How late does your hunt run? I have a late 66 deer tag and plan on spending a lot of time up there in November and hopefully a few in October. If I see a bull on your side, I could get ahold of you and let you know about it.

    Pnuma Clothing

Just curious if anyone has tried the Pnuma Outdoors gear yet? If so do you like it? Looks pretty nice in my opinion and I'm tempted to give it a try.

D Bags in the high country

You know what Koby, go ahead and start your own thread to try and make me out to be a fool. I DON'T GIVE A DAMN! I'll let you have your glory and I will stay out of it. I have nothing to prove to total strangers. I learned a long time ago not to care what others think about me since I'm so...

    Archery elk and hounds?

Houndsman live for chasing bears and cats as we do big muleys and elk. There's only so many days in the year and everyone needs a time to hunt. If I'm not mistaken the archery bull hunt runs 4 weeks and the state has left archery hunters the best week or two of the hunt without houndsman chasing...
