Most my grand kids are in line and pretty close. I'm not too worried about the great grand kids. I'll let their parents worry about it.
Attrition happens no matter what you do.

This.
Approved as presented. Sorry no one can spend a bit of time to see what happens or look it up after the meeting.
Almost like no one cares really.
I get it. It is about managing people. Or at least about how others want to manage people. Some just don't agree how others want to manage people.
If the management idea is to limiting how many bucks can be killed then simply eliminate those that do kill bucks for an appropriate amount of time...
Increasing people population and decreasing animal population is the hole we are digging.
How individual people get to participate with a diminishing resource is nothing but semantics.
The pie is getting smaller and those that want a piece is getting bigger.
With that said I have no idea how...
I can point to where they are not being hunted in any appreciable numbers. Does that count?
Come on it should be a simple question. Obviously you have the the data. Show us.
I admit I'm not as smart as some on here and I don't know every unit in Utah like I should so for the betterment of my education what deer units in Utah general or LE are gaining more deer in the herds? And are any with certain buck levels doing better or worse?
And if any are is not hunting...
I hunt the Cache. Have watched it for going on 50 years. It goes up and it goes down. Pretty much every time it goes up along comes mother nature and kills them off.
I know it's a hard concept but when deer die in the winter they die because they can't feed.
Nobody is killing off the herd. The...
They reach out multiple times. Agree that those who approve are less likely to comment.
The fact is very few are giving input that the RAC's or WB are hearing. Don't expect they are monitoring multiple social media accounts. Good if they do for sure.
Doesn't matter peoples attention span is not that long.
It's interesting the number of comments to the RAC's and WB. The discussion on shed hunting was interesting. But the total amount of comments to the RAC's and WB on any subject should be a huge wakeup for anybody that has an opinion.
That's kind of a big ask if you want my opinion. But you didn't.
Is there something inherently wrong with losing points no matter how a tag is procured?
Why would it decrease participation? After all it's about getting a tag. Another opportunity. Get a tag go to the back of the line.
Simple.
My guess would be that very few people who are buying a CWMU voucher are also applying for points for the same species.
But if they can buy one anytime they want I see no need for them to also be able to accumulate points for that species.
