So if I put in first choice muzzy tag, dont draw it but i do get my second choice rifle tag then choose to return the second choice tag do i still get a preference point or do I lose it when I return the tag

mine says 2009-481 non-res elk. What does that mean?

I'm in central wisconsin, got it at a Holliday store. I shot it twice just because I had to pull the trigger on a new toy, no time for more than that. Felt good, still has pretty good recoil even with the special stock though. I won't have tme to really work on sighting for awhile though.

Hunted this area several years and can pretty much echo the earlier comments and that is be prepared for lots of hunters to compete with if your planning on a first season rifle hunt. So if your looking for a nice quiet hunt unaffected by others this ain't the area. The positive can be that at...
