I managed to let the air out of this blacktail buck last Saturday in the Mt Hood National Forest. One arrow through the lungs and he was down in 50-60 yds.

They were out scouting a few times in September, saw some more rams...nothing real big yet.
I was busy antelope and archery elk hunting, so haven't been back over with them. Just over 2 weeks to go...time to get the game faces on!

Rutt...those are douglas fir arrows I made. I build wood arrows for myself and others. These just so happen to be footed on...
