The area you're talking about has pretty low deer densities, and gets absolutely pounded by hunters from Butte, mainly looking for elk. Also, unit 319 is permit only. That isn't to say there aren't some deer to be had (and a random nice one), but it wouldn't be an area I'd personally consider...
