There's quite a few good string makers out there. It's kind of like the who makes the best bow or truck debate, a lot of different opinions. Personally I like 60x.

Another vote for G5 strikers, shot the montecs for a little while but personally like the strikers better. Sharper and can replace the blades.

I've only tried about 4 different heads but ever since I put G5 strikers on I've been more than satisfied. There are a lot of great heads out there and most should fly good out of a well tuned bow. Personally I prefer the strikers.
