I think that every CWMU should have at least 3 public tags. With 2 going to the high point pool. Also if they have a even number, just up it one public tag. So the people with the most points won't have to wait as long. I think the same thing should happen to our once in a lifetime hunts. That...

No, new law as of Aug. 2. The old law you could move your camp after 16 day. Now they keep track of every camp every day. If your are camped 5 days and haul your camp home, you can only go back in "that forest" 9 more days in a 30 period. So dedicated hunters and archery hunters can't even hunt...

He also said our 5 days would count against next trip down next week. He was a real nice guy but said the new law was going to be enforced.

I just came back from 5 days of hunting. The Forest Service was in every camp every day, keeping a list. He said they are cracking down hard. You can't be in the same forest more than 14 days in a 30 day period. Moving camp spots even 10 miles does not work any more.
