How thick are the Griz's throughout the region? Are they more up north of it as opposed to the southern portion of the region?

I have had very goo luck with Speer mag tips with H4831 and CCI primers. I just recently tried Nosler Partitions since the mag tips are discontinued and they shot just as well with RL25 and I believe CCI primers also but need to check my notes. All shooting out of my my Remington 700 BDL

I believe that is the case. They set a specific date and the season opens on that, regardless what the day of the week is.

I myself have not hunted this area but try every year to pull a tag. If it were me, I would start of by calling the biologist and ask them. I have done this before with my last few tags and they were very helpful and gave me some great info. Good luck!

I just got home today from hunting in Area 6 and was very surprised that there were not as many people hunting on Friday but Saturday was a zoo. Friday was good and saw two great bucks but could not close the deal as I wanted to get into a better position for a shot and a small buck busted me...

Not sure what happened but my dad and I were up there scouting weekend before last and prior to driving up I called the Mtn City Motel and Bar to see if gas and food was available and the lady on the phone said no, the closest place for gas was up in Owyhee along with a small convenience store...

yes, they did evacuate Mtn City for about 4 hours so they could get a fire line established to protect the structures. Afterwards people were allowed to go back. Does anyone happen to know what mtns are burning in the Bull Run Range? Just a heads up, there is no gas or groceries in Mtn City...
