Any campground will do. Lots of places to camp there as well just on the National forest property. Go to ranger station there on ice house road to get a map of the forest Service roads. Pay attention to the fire restrictions if you're not in a developed campground though.

I think Cali draw system is ok other than I think they could allot a higher percentage to the random draw. Guys with less than max putting in for a max point unit should not be expecting a tag on choice 1. It's very easy to check the draw stats of previous years to see how many points are...

Put your kid in for x6b and each of you and your dad put in separately for Doyle. If your son draws you can help him hunt and learn the lay of the land for your hunt if u draw. Then he can go back with u and help u hunt or your dad.

Nitis it would be nice to have that data available. Colorado puts their stats out this way. The only thing that CA does is it shows the lowest point value awarded a tag so at least u can kind of plan on when u know u might draw a premium tag. I wouldn't look at the number of max point apps for a specific draw to see what chance I have with a second choice. Look at the total apps that put a specific hunt as first choice. Then look at how many tags are handed out to someone as a second choice, not very many premium draw hunts make it...

Putting down devils garden and x5b as a second and third choice is will never happen. Those tags are long gone from the preference draw and random draw before second and third choice tags are handed out.

If that's the only name you could come up with then I probably won't watch it no matter what you end up calling it. Already sounds like a crappy show.

You may wanna look into the Gamehide Hushhide rain pants. They're about $80 or so. Pretty quiet, durable, and pack into their own pocket. I will often just wear them over my baselayers if its not too cold and the brush is wet. For the money they are good.

If I could sell my max deer points I would. I'm tired of putting in for the cream of the crop premium hunts when I could draw a decent tag every 2-3 years in X-12. On the other hand I will never have max points again.
