I agree. Cameras are out of control. Every water hole I went to during scouting as well as hunting this year had multiple cameras. Not just water holes but guzzlers also.

I understand this forum is for communications of a sort but has everyone forgot the value of scouting?

Folks on other forums have said multiple times the can find out before the paid notification can let them know. They paid for the service and still found out on the results page before they received a text from that organization. I'm not paying $8 when I can just check on my phone....

Not all rut hunts are the best. You can do just as well by researching specific units. Some data is posted on NDOW. If that's all your looking for or have time for then 22 late 11 late would be ok. Very hard to draw though. I prefer hunting early now. NRA USW #5282

It will be tough hunting around S Nevada. To many hunters have educated the dogs. If you do hunt down here you will need to change up a lot. NRA USW #5282

Dogs get hammerd pretty hard close to town. If you do hunt around here you will need to stay away from the whole wounded rabbit normal calling routine. Might be worth the extra drive and head farhter away from town. Alot of coyotes in Armagosa valley but also sees a few hunters. Good luck...
