I think sitting on the animal and holding the head up gives better perspective of a trophy then sitting 20 feet behind it to make it look big. Its alot better then the tounge hanging out and blood everywhere. Plus with my fat A$$ sitting on it seams to tenderize pretty good.

My Dad My Bro and me listen to Ted Nugent every morning on the way to a hunt. And pack a good cigar in each of our packs for after a kill. More or less to toast the fallen animal for if it wasnt for animals to hunt id have to find something else to do and im way to redneck for tennis.

Insteed of being spoon feed info on hunts do a little reserch dang you could read through the idaho section and get a good start. Then round down what you think is the best for you. Are you a low land hunter or high country.

Had a buddy a few years back that shot a One horn moose that was broke off and his taxidermist happened to have a shed that matched dang close. I dont know what it cost sorry. Looks good though i think if your going to do it you might as well go that way at least it will be a real horn. My 2 cents

I agree with jake i pay the price. Also if every 2 point shootin resident got 2 cheap tags every year i wouldnt be able to shoot the deer i did this year nothing would ever get to be mature.
