I was thinking of building a new rifle, a 7 STW. I am told this caliber is only good for about 700 rounds thru it, then the barrel is shot out. Has anyone had this rifle caliber before. What is your opinion? Thanks!!

It often seems to me after the L.E. Utah Archery Elk hunts are over. When the L.E. Archery Elk hunt dates end on Sept.15-17, hunters seem to be more successful than when the season ends on Sept 13or14. I know of 4 hunters that hunted the "Roadless B.C." last year for Archery Elk, none taged out...

I would like to know if Utah General Season Deer hunters would support or agree with a 3pt. or 4 pt. or better restriction on some areas that are low on Deer numbers, for a short period of time. I know so many hunters and their friends that go out each year and shoot only spikes and 2pt. bucks...
