I’ve shot them all as well, but my Favorite by far is my Tikka T3X, pushing the Hornady 145gr ELD-X. I used to shoot a 300RUM the 270WIN dumps them just as well, no complaints at all, it’s a Mule Deers nightmare.

Do it like Colorado. Drop the waiting period or make it 2 years and only draw max points. Probably won’t be to popular, plus it’s to out of control already.

My next question would be, if your not willing to give your tag up for a year or two, then what then hell would you give up to possibly help the herd out... -Shorter seasons? -Smaller units and more of them so they could actually be managed? -cut tag numbers? -some units shut down temporarily...
