I went with the 3.5-10 VX-3i CDS and am very pleased. I also mounted it on my 270; a Win Model 70. The 40mm objective lense and 1" tube seems about perfect for that rifle.

Wish I could get my hands on some Zen Ray Prime HD's to compare with. Meostars are what I want at the end of the day but I could get a lot of gear for an extra $5-600...

I drew the same tag. According to NDOW the majority of bucks are being harvested in 181 but I can't figure out where. When I ask anyone I hear the Stillwater, Clan, and Desatoya ranges and don't mention any areas in 181. Only 15% of 181 is public so maybe their hunting private land? I'm in need...
