What's the low down on this hunt? Public Ground? Remote? Anyone hunt it before that has some good stories?

Hey Son, hunted that unit on 3 different tags. Only once the last week of october. Tons of access and tons of public land. The wilderness is pretty rugged on Jefferson and Table isn't all that bad. Easy access on both and not all that remote in my opinion other than being a long ways away from gas station. We have always found good numbers of deer but very few big ones. I've always found one or two shooters on each hunt but that was after laying down some serious miles and glassing time. Lots of wild horses also. I try to get a tag in that unit because its the only unit I know. Surely not the best unit but there are some good ones there. Snow helps but the time I was there in late october it was dry and the deer were up high not rutting. It was the toughest of the three tags for sure. With the early rifle right before that late hunt, I feel the deer get chased pretty hard and are tough to find that next week. Too bad that hunt isn't a week later so they could settle down.
