1st Day NM Buck

We spotted this bad boy on the first morning of the hunt and watched him for about 2 hrs before my son decided to take him. My son has set the bar high for himself in his first 2 years, Im a very proud dad. The size of the buck was amazing and he carries some great mass all the way up.

The first picture is 2011 15yrs old, and the second was 2010 14yrs old.

Congrats on the nice buck. It is always great to get our young ones out there to share and pass along our hunting traditions. It looks like you have a great hunter in the making. I quess by the looks of it I will have to go after the other bucks I found since your son killed 1 of the bucks I was going to go after.
