My friend and I are planning a DIY drop hunt for caribou for Aug. or Sept. of next year. I do pack in wilderness hunts for elk here in WY every year so I'm thinking this shouldnt be outside of my abilities. Im looking for any recomendations of air charter services. I'd really like to find something around the Fairbanks area. Have found a few I liked based out of Kotzebue but Im thinking all of the extra things you have to deal with aren't worth the hassle, so Im kinda shying away from that area. Have heard some good things about 40 mile air, just looking for some others to compare. Thanks in advance for the help.

40 mile air always does a good job. There are a lot of caribou out of Kotz but it will cost more. Call Wright air in Fairbanks to see what they can offer.
