2011 Goals

With a 2010 archery season behind me that I'm sure I can't top I've been thinking about what my goals for this year will be. Three animals in the books from last year all with archery gear was one of the biggest things I've ever acomplished and I want to better that this year with 200" of velvet clad bone.101-108 early will be my first choice. So what are your goals and what will you guys do to get it done for 2011? Gear choices workout programs ext lets hear them. My new G5 prime centroid is beating up the xring at leagues this year lets hope it carries through to August.

Theres no deer in 6 !! Remember!

Goals this year include a 160+buck with my bow in Nevada (First year back in NV after 15 years in idaho) and a 170+buck in Idaho w/Bow, and a 320+bull in Idaho w/Bow. With a bit more luck I'll be able to add a wyoming deer hunt also.

Gonna be hard to beat last year, took my first archery muley in Nevada, then a few weeks later took a nice utah archery muley, a couple weeks later my dad and my wife (her first big game hunt) took muzzy cow elk in nevada, 45 minutes apart, then a few weeks later my dad and two buddies took three rifle nv muleys (saw several 190+ bucks but didn't close deal), followed by a great az muzzy youth muley hunt with my daughter where she came close to squeezing the trigger on a great desert buck, two weeks after this I got within 75 yards of the same desert buck hunting archery in AZ but he outsmarted me and never could find him again. All in all, could be a season that may never be topped! 2011 started off great with my daughter getting her first AZ Javelina in January, lots of fun!
Hopefully we'll draw some tags, especially my son who is in for AZ for the first time, and other than that try to get in better shape than last year and enjoy every moment spent hunting with family and friends!
Good luck to all in 2011!
