2013 Buck & Bear Taxidermy

I picked up my spring bear and archery deer from this year.

Powder Horn Taxidermy in McCammon, ID did a great job, and really fast, too. Hopefully the pictures do his work justice. Frank is truly an artist.

Thanks again for all of you guys that helped me find this bear in a unit that I had never hunted before.

After drying, the bear squared a smidge over 7' and scored 19 5/16. The deer lost over 2" while drying, but still grossed 184 1/8.

Thanks, Yelum. I guess I should've done the old "sit way behind the deer" trick to make him look bigger in the kill pictures. ;-)
