2015 max point pool 13B

Updated. 159 nonresident max points holders left. About half applied to draw, half bought a point. In addition, 222 nonresident -1 point applicants missing the education point who could potentially get in the top pool at any time are left.that is a pretty big log jam at like 7 tags a year, much bigger if they cut that in half.... but age and death will come into play more as time passes...

LAST EDITED ON Sep-09-14 AT 07:16PM (MST)[p]Can someone please help me interpret the chart to see about what our chances may be next year to draw hunt #3118 with 13 nonresident points? I'm not sure how to do it. Thanks.

Looks like the 10% cap started kicking in on that hunt at 14 points in the 2014 draw. You can see that when the 1-2 pass drops below 100% yet tags are given below. So it looks like a nonresident needed 14 points to have a chance. Based on that, it is pretty safe to say 13 points won't get it done for a nonresident in 2015.

The gap method isn't accurate without knowing how many apps drew 1st choice in another unit or had their app bounced. NR drew tags in the 13 point pool in 2014.
