This is my 2017 late Wasatch Bull. We watched this bull bed down in the pines from a long ways away. I decided he was a good bull to try to pursue. We spent the afternoon hiking up to the nearest ridge where I could hopefully get a shot at the bull. We got into position to glass where we had last seen the bull. After a half hour or so of glassing I spot the movement of an antler. The bull was bedded down at 505 yards. It was then a waiting game for him to stand up and give me a clear shot. After 2 1/2 hrs he finally stood up and I had a clear shot. After 3 well placed shots the bull was down. Thanks to my brother Austin who was there with me the whole time. A BIG thanks to those who came in for the pack out (Zeke, Kurt, and Brody).
