I have two 257 weatherbys one mark V and the other the accumark version i love these guns i have mostly shot factory ammo through them with great suscess on deer and elk with the 100gr sp. Well time to do some more reloading. i tried last year to match factory ammo i dont feel i have been able to match the speed and preformance with the load i put out(H1000 73gr 100gr hornady cci primer) any other suggestions was thinking of tring RL22 or maybe imr4831 tips suggestions?

I would try the IMR 4831 good powder Maybe start at 65 grains and work up and see how you do! IMR 4350 is a good one also start at about 62 grains and work up.

I would look to use imr 7828sc,ramshot magnum, rl22 or rl25 and retumbo if your looking for speed. The 100gr ttsx and 110 accubonds are hammers in the 257. Good luck. Also use a magnum primer. I use 215m or cci 250.
