Gentleman,
I ordered a couple sample packs of Bergers in 130 and 140 grain VLD Hunting and I have run into an issue. While tinkering around with seating depth in my dummy case I realized the bullet tips seem to be hitting something between the magazine and the chamber? This happens regardless of seating depth and requires significant force to chamber a round, enough to make me worry about changes being made to seating depth and inducing runout. I have tinkered with Hornady SST's and Accubonds with zero issues. I kind of want to attempt loading some 129 grain ABLR's but before I "pull the trigger" on 100 of them I'm worried they may do the same thing since they are similar in shape to the Bergers. Any insight would be great, thanks!
