LAST EDITED ON Jan-27-19 AT 11:40AM (MST)[p]So I am new to this forum I live in Wyoming and that's why I am posting in the Wyoming section
So my wife has a 260 Ruger 77 and I finally convinced her dad to let me reload for it after he saw the accuracy of some other guns I had loaded for and he told her that I can start reloading for that gun (he's really old school) they shoot remington core lokts 140 gr out of it and they don't really like the ballistic tip bullets and they don't shoot long range (300 yards is probably her max) so I was wondering what bullet would be good for this range.. this Ruger is stock and I think it's a youth model maybe it's got a 18-20 inch barrel I think and a fixed 6 power scope and he hunts deer antelope and elk and she has killed every one but her groups are probably 2 inches and I'd like to put a higher bc bullet in it that can help with bucking the wind because it gets a little windy over here and again I hope I posted in the correct thread let me know what you guys think
The reason I put it on this thread is because Wyoming is where we hunt all the time so the guys who live and hunt in Wyoming might know a little better than somewhere else
