260 rem

What do you guys think of the following? 260 rem with hornady 129 gr. Interbond at about 2800 fps?

Should be great for muleys right?

I know the Creedmore is the rage but the 260 is realistically a ballistic twin.

Yep. In the hunting world, the 260, 6.5x55; and 6.5 Creed are all the same. All are great for mule deer.???SS

I am about to start load development on the exact same combo. Fantastic caliber and I think the Interbond is a fine bullet with more reliable performance than the ELD-X. I tested the 130 Accubonds and achieved okay accuracy and had no issues getting 2800 fps out of a 22.5" barrel and Reloader 16. I used the 129 grain ABLR last year on some northern MN whitetail doe and although they performed exactly as designed I felt they were a touch on the explosive side on short range shots.
