I assume that you are talking about bullets for taking mule deer since you are posting in this forum. Any quality bullets from 130-150 should do. If longer shots are possible, I would opt for 130 or 140 gr. Personally I shoot 140 grain hornady light magnums because they shoot 1/2" groups out of my gun. Tried the new Hornady light magnum 130 grain Interbond, which should hold together better, but they didn't shoot as accurately. The interbond bullet advertizes that it never, ever seperates the jacket from the core, so it should work well. The 140 grain uses an Interlock bullet, which is roughly comparable to the core-lokt from remington. It tends to come apart when it runs into heavy stuff, but it has never failed me in the field.
