2B rifle deer or 9 archery Elk???

The deer tag is Oct 25th -29th. The either sex Elk tag is Sept 1st - 22nd. I intend to do both hunts and am looking for opinions of which tag is the better tag. Just for fun. If you have an opinion, or experience in one of these units, then post it up. I can't wait for it to get here. I've never seen either of these units before but I am going to give it all I've got.

Both fun hunts, but 2B is your better shot at a trophy class animal.

I wouldn't second guess either! The deer tag is not a sure thing as far as trophy, it takes work....and unit 9 has great elk to, some that private can hide for sure....so dont let your guard down on either!

I would have to say 2B With out a doubt!!! at the end of October is perfect becouse thats when the big Bucks start showing up. Your going to have a blast. You'll see more deer than you've ever seen before!

I wouldn't guarantee seeing a ton of deer, but I know there are some big boys up there.
