49 late buck hunt

Bugs me when people ask for help that don't scout so I will be up front with you. Buddy drew a 49 late buck tag. He has scouted up a storm but you know how it is pre migration, not much around yet. He has legs like a chukar and can go for days so he's willing to get in to some remote country. Would anyone be willing to point him in the right direction?
