I’m not much good at writing stories so I’ll keep this short...
In 2015 a buck showed up on our cameras we named Girth, and we’ve been after him ever since...
This year I drew a late muzzleloader tag and he was definitely on my mind all year long...
Saturday afternoon my brother glassed him up... Sunday we spent all day glassing for him and at 3:30 he came out, we watched until dark and made a plan for Monday...
Monday morning we hiked in made an afternoon spike camp and at 2:30 made our way into the bowl he had been in the past two nights...
At 3:30 he came out pushing a doe at 150yds quartering to me I put one through this left shoulder and he went straight down... talks about a flood of emotions...
I hope you enjoy this very unique buck we called Girth!
