I've never been there. Rumor has it that this is where Roy shot his famous Sequoia Gigantea Turtle. He denies it, of course.
From the map, it looks like prime pot growing country. Don't wander too far off the beaten path.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-08-12 AT 01:22PM (MST)[p]It is located WEST of Laytonville and no where near Eureka where Eel lives. Been by this place a number of times when working in Medocino County. Lots of "pot areas" all along this old narrow road all the way to the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Scenic but not a place to go off the main road like Eel said.
