The kicker to all this, by Feinstein own words she and her staff have ben preparing this anti gun bill for over 1 year. In other words they started working on it prior to the theater shooting in Colorado, and the school shooting in Conn. Did you know a favorite hunting rifle, the Remington 740 and Remington 7400 is not on that list of guns exempted, it is classed as a 'Assault rifle".
That list is made up of about every bolt action, slide action and single shot rifle made in the world. also lists about every shotgun made. No where, and I mean no where does it list any semi auto pistols as being on the exempted list. Yet the bill targets semi auto pistols as "assault weapons" on page 2 & 3 of the bill. It targets some shotguns as well and any semi auto shotgun with a magazine that can hold more then 5 rounds will be illegal.
That bill was sponsered by 21 Democrat Senators and there is deceptive wording in the bill as we saw happen here in CA. I am beginning to think Feinstein had the same people draft her bill as was done in CA.
In one part the Ruger mini-14 is listed as exempted, but in the description narrative all semi auto rifles will be banned if they have a detachable magazine and pistol grip. This was the deceptive description used when Gov. Gray Davis signed Californis's first assault weapon ban and then found out by ATF and CA. Dept. of Justice standards that because of the pistol grip description it did include hunting rifles that were semi auto with detactable magazine that had a portion of the pistol grip that protuded below the trigger guard.
As for the semi auto pistols. Any semi auto pistol that has a detactable magazine and ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WILL BE BANNED. Then it gives a list of several items. One of those items listed in order to ban the pistol is having a barrel shroud.
If you were the firearm expert you like to claim to be, you would be aware that every pistol made that follows John M. Browning's patent on his 1911 and 1935 Browning Hi-Power has a metal shroud built into the front of the frame to protect the barrel. It is that thin "U" shaped pieace of metal that sits in front of the trigger guard and is used to protect the gun barrel from dirt entry and the gun user from a hot barrel.
Now we come to the dirty part if S150 is passed, I do not think it will, but just in case. ATF will step in and give their opinion what comprises a pistol grip and barrel shroud and we will discover they will add more guns to the list of banned firearms based on their interpetation of firearm nomenclature.
As a result of that decision by ATF, the NRA and other firearms organzations will be forced to spend their money and time taking this action to the Supreme Court and after about 2-3 years later we will get a decision if S150 violated the 2nd ammendment. The anti gun Democrats could care less as it is nothing out of their pockets and they forced us the taxpayer and our firearm organzations to spend 1 or 2 million dollars to fight them.
And you want to know the real dirty sneaky part those 21 Democrats put into the bill on the very last page. They inserted a inclusive judiciary rule that if a portion of the bill is ruled unconstitution it would only effect that portion of the bill and the balance of the bill would still be in lawful effect. As usual you're wrong, a true assualt weapon barrel shroud is not the same as the barrel bushing you're calling a shroud ( see picture ). I'm not saying the slide and barrel bushing couldn't be called a shroud but that is why bills go up for debate, fix it.

Well Dude, you are at a lost for words to spin it and you want to stick to facts now.
Here is some facts for you to try and spin. The bill is written in a way to deceive fellow lawmakers into thinking it is not as bad as it seems, also to deceive voters. You as a self proclaimed expert on firearms has been fooled, yet the bill is in reality a Pelosi special of "let's pass it and see what happens". It will then allow the ATF to decide which more weapons will fit the description of being a assault weapon and place bans or restrictions on it. Do you trust the ATF to make those decisions?
If it was a fact they were not after our semi auto pistols, there would have not been any mention of semi auto pistols. Yet the bill now puts semi auto pistols into the catagory of assault weapons along with AR-15's and AK-47s.
So 21 Democrat Senators is nothing in your thinking, that is only the Senators that sponsered the bill. If the bill goes to the floor, just how many more Democrat Senators will give it a yes vote thinking it will be perceived by the voting public as not that bad, as you have done.
Now I do not think it will pass as the GOP majority House will stop it in it's tracks and the Democrats and you will paint them as the bad guys who do not care about our children.
The last fact of all is that you do not give a Rat's Azz, by your own words,about your fellow gun owners as long as one of your guns is not a target. If it was a fact they were not after our semi auto pistols, there would have not been any mention of semi auto pistols. Yet the bill now puts semi auto pistols into the catagory of assault weapons along with AR-15's and AK-47s.
So 21 Democrat Senators is nothing in your thinking, that is only the Senators that sponsered the bill. If the bill goes to the floor, just how many more Democrat Senators will give it a yes vote thinking it will be perceived by the voting public as not that bad, as you have done.
Now I do not think it will pass as the GOP majority House will stop it in it's tracks and the Democrats and you will paint them as the bad guys who do not care about our children.
The last fact of all is that you do not give a Rat's Azz, by your own words,about your fellow gun owners as long as one of your guns is not a target. All of other gunowners should treat you as a self centered traitor and ignore you in the future and not believe anything you may have to say on this subject due to your bias self centered opinion is not worth two cents.

Dude they will go after the hi-cap 9mm pistols first as many of them can carry up to 16 rounds. I also need to make a CORRECTION,after reviewing the list for a third time I did notice that the Remington model 740 and 7400 are on the exempt list of firerarms. But we still have the problem of the lanuage used to describe what is a assault rifle to be banned from future making and sales. I think that is plain and simple enough to include any semi auto rifle with detachable magazine that has a portion of the grip that protudes below the trigger guard and is commonly referred to as a rifle with a pistol grip instead of the straight line grip you normally see on a winchester 94 rifle.

but but but, the standard magazine capacity of that assault pistol is 15 rounds... There's no need for that many bullets, the mags should be limited to 7 rounds and the remaining 8 rounds could be traded in for a whistle and some ball point pens, which apparently is all we need for self defense...
