Another Vortex question...

I'm looking to buy a medium grade scope and am sure hearing good things about Vortex. I like a scope that is sized about right to slip in my badlands 2200. The reviews on the Vortex ED glass sounds like it's stellar, but how is the other glass (non-ED and the smaller 60mm angled scope) I like the size of the small 60mm angled scope, but I wonder if the optics are lack luster given the ~$300 price tag.

I'd sure like to look through a few Vortex options, ED 80mm, non-ed 80mm and the 60mm

Thoughts / experience with these scopes?

I can't help you, but it sounds like we're looking for about the same thing. I plan to carry it around in a Badlands 2800 and a smaller day pack part of the time and was wondering how the Nomad 20-60x60 compares to the Impact 75mm.

The angled nomad is an incredible little scope. I'd go for the Nomad if it were me.

Sounds like the Nomad is for you. Check with Doug at cameraland or Prism. It sounds like both of them can give you a great deal. Better than the deal at the Vortex website. fatrooster.
