Hey all,
I pulled a late doe goat tag in december in unit 120, 121, 125 and 126 as a second choice. I want to take my 8 and 10 year old boys on their first big game hunt.
I've never hunted down there and was wondering if anyone had a pointer or 2 for me on places to start.
It looks like there are some ranches that are registered in the big game walk in program. I was wondering if that is worthwhile land to check out or not.
Any help or ideas would be great. Just looking to take my boys on a fun hunt for a doe I can make into sausage. I finally figured out how to make sausage in my smoker and want some meat for the fall. Heck, I'll even share some sausage with you if you can give me a pointer.
