Antler Prices?

Are prices still down? What is the best time of year to sell? Thanks for any info.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-01-16 AT 01:41PM (MST)[p]We are still getting $10/lb. down from high of $12 for brown elk. You have to sell to the right guy, several buyers are at $8/9.

Edit to add: Best time to sell has always been April/May in these parts, when all the buyers are competing for the fresh bone, and the pickers have a pile to sell.

Call Steve Sorensen. We have been selling to him for years. He has always beat any other prices and grades more fair than previous buyers were were selling to.
