Anyone hunted CWMU's around Promentory?

Wondering if anyone has hunted on any of the CWMU's around promontory? Specifically looking at Bootjack and Engineer Springs.

I plan to call the operator and ask the usual questions about access, expectations, and season dates, but wanted some first hand feedback if anyone has any.

Yeah there not what they once were! 150 maybe 160 bucks at best

I'm of the mindset that I'd rather have the shot at several decent bucks in my lifetime rather than 1 good buck. I have 2 points now and have picked apart the CWMU list based on draw odds, satisfaction levels, and harvest rates.

I'd be happy with a 160" deer but would prefer 170+. I have 8 other CWMU's that I'll be contacting, but those ones are closer to home.

Are there atleast decent buck numbers out in that area?

If your looking to hunt those areas I would put in for north promontory or golden spike just my 2 cents
