Apex or Something else?

I know you guys have done this alot but one more time please. I am buying my first muzz. I would like an accurate, affordable, easy to clean gun. I do not need the barrell changing feature. This may be my one and only muzzy rifle ever. Do I spend the money on the Apex or go for something less expensive? If something less expensive is recommended please give me some names and why. Thanks in advance for the help.

If you just want a muzzleloader,I just bought a CVA Kodiak with the Bergera barrel from Cabelas for $150.Synthetic stock Nickel barrel.Easy to clean and hasbeen very accurate.Just a thought.

Apex is an awesome rifle but like you, i dont need the centerfire barrel. Im shooting the Accura now and its one hell of a rifle.

im not big on TC. Their stocks are to short for me and their open sights never come into view easily. I live in CO and hunt here & basically we are limited to open sights and conicals. Open sights are one issue but the biggest issue with TC, will it shoot a conical? Some get great results, most get, why the hell wont it shoot conicals?!
