I figure 40" beams and 40" spread - his tops are weak (heavy but not long). Lets figure 13" Browtines, 12" G3's, 12" G4's and 6" G5's - figure another 25" in mass (6.5" - 7") measurements - puts the bull around 285 Gross.
I have a bull that scores 295 Gross and 272 Net and they are pretty similar. If the beams and spread are shorter or narrower, drop the score. Tough to tell at this angle - I would shoot him with my bow that is for sure.
I don't get to elk hunt much and where I go any bull over 280 is pretty good. Any branch antlered bull I will shoot with my bow and with a rifle I try to hold out for the 300 class bulls.
