Has anyone hunted over-the-counter for deer in arizona?

Agree, I used to hunt OTC archery deer in AZ. Terrible hunts. Success rate is very poor, and deer quality is near the bottom. Try CO, MT, WY, etc.

There is no bad OTC season. They're just different. Velvet in Aug-Sep and rut in Dec-Jan.

Success rates do suck. And the otc units are not easy or trophy units. But otc is otc. Rare thing anymore

Just be happy you only have to deal with the mental image. When I'm mad at my Wife and she's almost asleep I give her the old scratchnsniff. Most of the time I pay for it in pain. But anything for a laugh
