I went for a quick hike yesterday after work and managed to turn up this funny atl. Not a big horn but at this point with the grass green and the leafs coming on I'll take it.

So I came home with a 3pt antler and a beer can! I also turned up a goofy bull elk skull. I was excited to pick it up so I could mount a set of sheds on it. But when I got to it, I was a little disappointed to see that I wasn't the first one to find it. Thought it was a shed bull....

"mechanically shed bull" for sure. Cool atl........not much sticking out of those leaves.

Found one like that a few years back. Sat down and ate lunch for almost an hour and when I went to stand up I saw the tine sticking out of the leaves a few inches from my boot. It had been there the whole time and I almost missed it. To bad I wasn't smart enough to calm down and snap some pics.
