LAST EDITED ON Mar-15-12 AT 11:56AM (MST)[p]Last night at the ADBSS meeting, it was clear that the Board was unanimously against HB2072. Good for them! Pete Cimellaro and Floyd Green were there pushing ADBSS to "agree with the concept". ADBSS did not bite.
This is clearly the tactic now. Tell us what is wrong (around the edges) and we will fix it, but we need those tags to make the expo work. They are trying to schedule a meeting of many groups for next week to do just that.
Pete Cimellaro said that at their meeting last week, ADA agreed with the concept. Funny, that's not what we are hearing - aren't they supposed to be surveying their members? He also said that the Antelope Foundation had agreed in concept at their meeting Monday 3/12. He also mentioned SE Az Sportsmen agreeing in concept.
Seems the fight over 2072 "as written" is over, but a much bigger fight now looms. Defeat this whole concept.
Pete Cimellaro also made refernce to all the great things that were going on in UT as a result of the work of Don Peay "who is a personal friend of mine" - and that is a quote.
